No formal qualifications

This course is suitable for learners with learning difficulties that are looking to obtain a Level 1 qualification. The course is intended to help you develop life skills and employability skills, bridging the gap between Entry Level and Level 1 or 2 subject specific qualifications. You can ‘bank‘ units of achievements but this course is intended as a full-time course working towards a Level 1 Diploma.

This course offers the opportunity to study and explore a variety of different vocational areas whilst working on research and study skills. Learners will also develop their Literacy, Numeracy and IT skills. The core areas look into recognising job opportunities and building upon work experience and interview techniques helping the learner with all areas of employability.

• Hospitality, travel & tourism
• IT n Performing arts
• Sport & leisure.

Coursework, portfolio and assessments.

The programme is personalised to each individual, and can provide progression on to employment or a Level 2 NOCN course.
